Identifying the platform that will generate the assets

 In the second stage, the platform on which the tokens will be minting occurs. The token developer must select one from the numerous providers of tokenization as a service (TaaS). 

Building the smart contract

Self-executing software that oversees token operation on the blockchain constitutes a smart contract. The code specifies every action pertaining to the proprietorship and transfer of the token. It contains the complete set of regulations and requirements that govern the generation and transfer of the digital asset. It eliminates the necessity for intermediaries in the asset’s transactions, which is due to its self-enforcing characteristic.

Establishing the token

 The subsequent step is security token (ST) generation. The blockchain contains the digital representation of the RWA. This ST may represent fractions or wholes of the asset it represents. The developer attaches the token to the asset that it is tokenizing once it is complete, thereby facilitating its issuance. 

Issuing Security Token

The fourth phase introduces the ST to the primary market. To acquire capital for the project, this procedure is known as a security token offering (STO) and involves selling a portion of the total tokens to a select group of investors.

Listing on Exchanges

The project will then go public on an exchange following the STO, where anyone can purchase and possess the token.

Tokenization enables the digital representation of collectibles and works of art on the blockchain. This would enable fractional possession of high-value collectibles and artwork, thereby rendering them more transferable and affordable. 

The rise of the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) market has provided additional motivation for the digitization of artworks, since it enables the representation and ownership of variants of distinct tangible works on the blockchain.
